<br />RESOLUTION NO. 681 <br /> <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ADDING PARKING LOT 40 TO THE DOWNTOWN <br />3 PARKING RATE AND HOUR SCHEDULE AND RESTATING SAID SCHEDULE <br />FOR THE OPERATION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITIES AND <br />4 REPEALING RESOLUTION NO, 679, <br /> <br />5 WHEREAS, on June 21, 1994, the City of Riverside ("City") and the Redevelopment Agency <br /> <br /> <br />6 of the City of Riverside ("Agency") entered into an agreement (the "Agreement") by which the <br /> <br />7 Agency asswned responsibility for the management, operation and maintenance of certain Municipal <br /> <br />8 Parking Facilities located within the downtown area of the City; and <br /> <br />9 WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 6235, on July 25,1995, the City Council of the City amended <br /> <br />10 Sections 10,60,010 and 10,60,030 of the Riverside Municipal Code relating to Municipal Parking <br />11 Facilities to provide that if the City contracted for the management and operation of any Municipal <br />12 Parking Facilities, such contractor could designate the hours of operation and establish the fees or <br /> <br />13 charges for parking in or on such facility; and <br /> <br />14 WHEREAS, on October 3, 1995, the City and Agency amended the Agreement tD allow the <br /> <br />15 Agency to set the fees and the hours of operation for the downtown Municipal Parking Facilities as <br /> <br />16 authorized by Ordinance No, 6235; and <br />17 WHEREAS, on October 3, 1995, the Agency adopted, by minute action, the hours of operation <br /> <br />18 and parking rates for certain Municipal Parking Facilities owned by the City of Riverside Parking <br /> <br />19 Authority, the Agency and the City; and <br /> <br />20 WHEREAS, on April 6, 1999, by adoption of Resolution No, 657 the Agency rcvised the <br /> <br />21 hours of operation for certain Municipal Parking Facilities owned by the City of Riverside Parking <br /> <br />22 Authority, the Agency and the City and repealed Resolution No, 646; and <br /> <br />23 WHEREAS, on March 21, 2000, by adoption of Resolution No, 670, the Agency revised the <br /> <br />24 hours of operation and parking rates for certain downtown Municipal Parking Facilities owned by the <br /> <br />2S City of Riverside Parking Authority, the Agency and the City; <br /> <br /> <br />26 WHEREAS, on October 3, 2000, by adoption of Resolution No, 678, the Agency rcvised the <br /> <br /> <br />27 hours of operation and parking rates for certain downtown Municipal Parking Facilities owned by the <br /> <br />Cit)' Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 826-5567 <br />
