The June program calendar of events was provided to <br />each Trustee, which displays all the summer performers at each branch with additional programs <br />offered. <br />An explanation of the Summer Reading Program was provided which included information about <br />how the program promotes reading with incentives and educational programs. <br />The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by; The Cove, Shakey's Pizza, Starbucks, Roller City 2001, <br />City of Riverside Parks and Recreation, Adam's Motorsports and Marie Callendar's. Fund donations <br />are provided by the Riverside Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Library, Provident Bank, Marie S. <br />Roberts Pet Adoption and the Foundation for Kids. <br />The Story Mobile has been participating by attending four City parks during the Summer Reading <br />Program which began June 14th and will end August 2nd. The Adult Program runs through August 16th. <br />Last year's Summer Reading Program received over 7,000 child and teen participants, and 262 adults. <br />Nearly 9,500 children and adults attended the programs during the 2013 Summer Reading Program. <br />The Main Library is the Summer Feed location for the "Lunch at the Library". Riverside Public library <br />has partnered with the California Library Association, California Summer Meal Coalition and the <br />Riverside Unified School District to provide a free lunch to children ages 18 and younger. The program <br />is grant funded. <br />
