Loveridge presented the Library with a silver plated <br />trophy cup that once belonged to the City of Riverside's fifth Mayor, Lyman Van Wickle <br />Brown. The inscription reads, "First Prize LVW Brown Best Four Boxes Grapefruit Class 9 ". <br />Mayor Brown was the son of Judge E.G. Brown, one of Riverside's founders. Mayor Brown <br />died in an automobile accident the some day he took office, Jan 4, 1922. The Mayor of <br />Needles saw the cup at a yard sale, secured it and sent it to Mayor Loveridge, who <br />presented it to the Library for its Local History collection. <br />The Director Kennon followed up on eComment received at the April meeting. The <br />customer was contacted and provided an update on status of auto repair manuals and <br />databases. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Item 2 Approval of the Minutes of April 28, 2014 Board Meeting <br />Per Trustee Runyon's request, a request was made during the April meeting that was not <br />included on the April 28 minutes under item #11. These items included follow up on a public <br />comment and correction on Library Organizational Chart. <br />Trustee Rowe moved with corrections. <br />Ayes: Trustees Evans, House, Lewis, Runyon, Ridgway, Rowe, and Yonezawa. <br />Opposed: N/A <br />Abstained: N/A <br />tem 3 & 4 Approval of Trust Fund Expenditures; approval of Donations of $1,000 or more; and <br />Trustee House moved with no corrections. <br />Ayes: Trustees Evans, House, Lewis, Runyon, Ridgway, Rowe, and Yonezawa. <br />Opposed: N/A <br />Abstained: N/A <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />Item 5 Director Kennon to Present'Library 101: "Neighborhood Strategies: 26 in 26" <br />Director Kennon provided a presentation on Neighborhood Strategies: 26 in 26 and the <br />Library as Cornerstone. The Neighborhood Strategies: 26 in 26 is envisioned to be Neighbors <br />working with Neighbors for Sustainable Neighborhood Change throughout Riverside's 26 <br />Neighborhoods. Through a community led process, Riverside Neighborhood Partnership will <br />
