Ms. Bond provided the <br />Trustees with updates at the La Sierra branch including 2014 Summer Reading Program stats for the <br />branch, programming and overall borrowing within the system. <br />Director Kennon presented "Library 101 " with information on two services the Library will soon offer to <br />customers: Zinio Digital Magazines and Enki eBooks. Zinio allows library customers access to a suite of <br />digital magazines. Enki eBooks is designed to allow California libraries to own and store eBooks for <br />customer access. It is a non - profit membership cooperative funded by member libraries. eBooks may <br />be checked out for a period of up to three weeks. There is no cost to customers, no check out limits, <br />no due date and no overdue fines. Both services are funded by the Library Services and Technology <br />Act (LSTA) via the Inland Library System (I LS). The programs will begin this fall. <br />
