1 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br /> 26 <br /> <br /> 27 <br /> <br />SP-006-001 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19838 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CANYON SPRINGS SPECIFIC PLAN <br />AND INCORPORATING INTO THE SPECIFIC PLAN DOCUMENT <br />CHANGES TO ADJUST THE BOgDARES BETWEEN PLANNING <br />AREA 3a AND 3b AND TO PERMIT CERTAIN RETAIL COMMERCIAL <br />USES WITHIN PLANNING AREA 3b. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Canyon Springs Specific Plan ("Specific Plan") was adopted on January <br />17, 1984, by Resolution No. 15249; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside, California advertised for <br />and held a public hearing to consider a proposal to amend the Specific Plan to adjust the boundaries <br />between Planning Areas 3a and 3B and to pem~it retail commercial uses consisting of major <br />freestanding and/or in-line tenants within Planning Area 3b (Case SP-006-001 ); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside, California adve~lised for and held <br />a public hearing on January 2, 2001, to consider Case SP-00O-001. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside. <br />California, that the City Council finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Incorporating the findings set forth above and in the documents and reports for <br /> <br />Case SP-006-001, it is in the public interest to amend the Canyon Springs Specific Plan to ackjust the <br />boundaries between Planning Areas 3a and 3b and to permit retail commercial uses consisting of <br />major freestanding and/or in-line tenants within Planning Area 3b. <br /> <br /> 2. The amendment of the Canyon Springs Specific Plan will not have a significant <br /> <br />affect on the environment. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Canyon Springs Specific Plan is hereby amended <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> l.
