RECORDING REQUESTED BY <br />AND WHEN RECORDED RETURN TO: <br /> <br />Historic Mission Inn Corporation <br />4100 Newport Place <br />Suite 400 <br />Newport Beach, California 92660 <br />Attention: Ted Weggeland <br /> <br />(Space Above For Recorder's Use) <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM OF LEASE <br /> <br />THIS MEMORANDUM OF LEASE ("Memorandum") is made and entered into as of December 22 , 2000, by and <br />between HISTORIC MISSION INN CORPORATION, a California corporation ("Landlord"), and THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, a public body, corporate and politic ("Tenant"). <br /> <br />1. Term and Premises. For the Lease Term and upon the provisions set forth in that certain written lease of even <br />date herewith from Landlord to Tenant ("Lease"), all of which provisions are specifically made a part hereof as though <br />fully and completely set forth herein, Landlord leases to Tenant, and Tenant leases from Landlord, that certain real <br />property consisting of museum and office space ("Premises") located in the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, <br />State of California, as depicted on Exhibit "1" attached hereto, and which is part of that hotel ("Hotel") legally described <br />in Exhibit "2" attached hereto, together with all rights of ingress and egress and all other rights appurtenant to said <br />Premises including, without limitation, the right to use the building constructed on the Premises for the purposes <br />contemplated in the Lease, all of which rights are more particularly described in the Lease. <br /> <br />2. Options to Extend Term. Reference is particularly made to Section 3.2 of the Lease wherein Tenant is granted <br />options to extend the Lease Term on the terms and conditions set forth therein. <br /> <br />3. Use. Reference is particularly made to Section 6.1 of the Lease wherein Tenant is granted the right to use the <br />Premises for the Mission inn Museum and general office uses. <br /> <br />4. Purpose of Memorandum of Lease. This Memorandum is prepared for the purpose of providing for record <br />notice of the Lease, and in no way modifies the express and particular provisions of the Lease. <br /> <br />5. For the Benefit of the Premises. Landlord and Tenant intend that the covenants, conditions and restrictions <br />described and referred to herein shall be both personal to Landlord and Tenant and binding on their successors and <br />assigns.
