1 RESOLUTION NO. 628 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY <br /> OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE CONFLICT OF <br />3 INTEREST CODE OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY <br /> OF RIVERSIDE FOR AGENCY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES WHICH <br />4 IS TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ADOPTION. <br />5 RECITALS <br />6 WHEREAS the Political Reform Act, Government Code Section <br />7 81000, et seq., requires state and local government agencies to <br />8 adopt and promulgate conflict of interest codes; and <br />9 ~ WHEREAS the Fair Political Practices Commission has <br />10 adopted a regulation, 2 California Code of Regulations Section <br />11 18730, which contains the terms of a standard conflict of <br />12 interest code; and <br />13 WHEREAS such standard terms can be incorporated by <br />14 reference and may be amended by the Fair Political Practices <br />15 Commission after public notice and hearings to conform to <br />16 amendments in the Political Reform Act; <br />17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment <br />18 Agency of the City of Riverside as follows: <br />19 1. The terms of 2 California Code of Regulations Section <br />20 18730, a copy of which section is marked Appendix C and attached <br />21 hereto and made a part hereof by this reference, and any <br />22 amendments to it duly adopted by the Fair Political Practices <br />23 Commission are hereby incorporated by reference and, along with <br />24 the attached Appendix A, in which Agency officials are <br />25 designated, and Appendix B, in which the disclosure category is <br />26 set forth, constitute the conflict of interest code of the <br />27 Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside for its officials. <br />Attorney's Office <br />Street <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 <br /> F:\WPDATA\RES\97006101.CC <br /> <br /> <br />
