RESOLUTION NO. 62/4 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND ADOPTING FINDINGS, STATEMENT OF OVERRIDING CONSIDERATIONS AND MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FOR THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO, AND MERGER OF, THE CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL AND SYCAMORE CANYON REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside ("Agency") has prepared proposed Amendments to, and merger of, the Central Industrial and Sycamore Canyon Redevelopment Projects ("Amendments"); and WHEREAS, the Agency, as lead agency pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act CCEQA"), authorized preparation of an Environmental Impact Report ("EIR") to evaluate potential environmental impacts of the Amendments; and WHEREAS, a draf~ EIR was prepared and circulated pursuant to CEQA, the State CEQA Guidelines, and Agency Procedures for Implementation of CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines; and WHEREAS, the Agency made the draft EIR available to the public and to interested agencies for review and comment on April 15, 1997; and WHEREAS, following the public review and comment period, which included a public hearing held by the Agency on May 20, 1997, a final EIR was prepared incorporating comments and recommendations received on the draft EIR and responses of the Agency in compliance with CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines; and WHEREAS, the Agency has carefully reviewed the final EIR and all other information in the administrative record. NOW, THEREFORE, THE RIVERSIDE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The final EIR on the proposed Amendments to and merger of the Central Industrial and Sycamore Canyon Redevelopment Projects is hereby received by the Agency in the form attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference. ~ RVPUB~V[O\24007 - 1 -
