Resolution No. 62I <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE APPROVING THE AGENCY'S REPORT TO THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PLANS INCLUDING THE MERGER OF THE CENTRAL <br /> INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND THE SYCAMORE <br /> CANYON AND BOX SPRINGS INDUSTRIAL PARK REDEVELOPMENT <br /> PROJECT, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF REPORT AND AMENDMENTS <br /> TO CITY COUNCIL, CONSENTING TO JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENTS AND AUTHORIZING PUBLIC HEARING ON <br /> THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE IMPLEMENTATION PLANS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside ("Agency") has <br />prepared Amendments to the Redevelopment Plans which include the merger of the <br />Central Industrial Redevelopment Project and the Sycamore Canyon and Box Springs <br />Industrial Park Redevelopment Project ("Amendments"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency has submitted the proposed Amendments to the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Riverside for its report and recommendation and has received <br />such report and recommendation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 33352 and 33354.6 of the California Community <br />Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) the Agency has <br />prepared a Report to the City Council on the proposed Amendments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sections 33354.6 and 33355 of the California Community <br />Redevelopment Law authorize a joint public hearing on the proposed Amendments with <br />the consent of the Agency and the City Council of the City of Riverside ("City Council"); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency on December 13, 1994, adopted Five-Year Implementation <br />Plans ("Implementation Plans") pursuant to Section 33490 of the California Community <br />Redevelopment Law for the Central Industrial Redevelopment Project and the Sycamore <br />Canyon and Box Springs Industrial Park Redevelopment Project, and the proposed <br />Amendments would affect the adopted Implementation Plans; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared proposed amendments to the Implementation <br />Plans, which are contained in Part XIII of its Report to the City Council on the proposed <br />Amendments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 33490 provides that the Agency may amend the <br />Implementation Plans after conducting a public hearing on the proposed amendments; <br />and <br /> <br /> <br />
