RESOLUTION NO. 620 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE APPROVING THE AMENDMENTS TO THE AMENDED REDEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR THE MERGED DOWNTOWN AND AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside ("Agency") has prepared proposed Amendments to the Amended Redevelopment Plans for the Merged Downtown and Airport Industrial Redevelopment Projects ("Amendments"); and WHEREAS, the Agency has submitted the proposed Amendments to the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside ("Planning Commission") for its report and recommendations, and the Planning Commission by Resolution No. 4295, adopted December 5, 1996, recommended approval and adoption of the proposed Amendments; and WHEREAS, the Agency prepared a Report to the City Council of the City of Riverside on the proposed Amendments, containing the items and information set forth in Section 33352 of the Health and Safety Code and conforming to the requirements of the Health and Safety Code; and WHEREAS, the project area committee has reviewed the proposed Amendments and has made certain recommendations regarding the proposed Amendments; and WHEREAS, the Agency and City goals are that all owner participation agreements and disposition and development agreements include a provision requiring developers and owners to enter into a utility purchase agreement with the City. NOW, THEREFORE, THE RIVERSIDE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That the Amendments to the Amended Redevelopment Plans for the Merged Downtown and Airport Industrial Redevelopment Projects as proposed to be revised to include some of the project area committee's recommendations are hereby approved and the Agency recommends that the Amendments be approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Riverside.
