RESOLUTION NO. 617 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE APPROVING THE AGENCY'S REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE AMENDED REDEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR THE RIVERSIDE DOWNTOWN AND RIVERSIDE AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF REPORT AND AMENDMENTS TO CITY COUNCIL, AND CONSENTING TO JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside, has prepared Amendments to the Amended Redevelopment Plans for the Downtown and Airport Industrial Redevelopment Projects ("Amendments"); and WHEREAS, the Agency has submitted the proposed Amendments to the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside for its report and recommendation and has received such report and recommendation; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 33352 and 33354.6 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) the Agency has prepared a Report to the City Council on the proposed Amendments; and WHEREAS, Sections 33354.6 and 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law authorize a joint public hearing on the proposed Amendments with the consent of the Agency and the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside as follows: Section 1. The Agency hereby approves its Report to City Council of the City of Riverside on the proposed Amendments to the Amended Redevelopment Plans for the Riverside Downtown and Riverside Airport Industrial Redevelopment Projects, in the form attached hereto. Section 2. The Agency hereby submits to the City Council the proposed Amendments to the Amended Redevelopment Plans for the Downtown and Airport Industrial Redevelopment Projects, in the form attached hereto, and the Agency's Report to the City Council. Section 3. The Agency hereby consents to a joint public hearing on the proposed Amendments, and requests the City Council to call a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council, at such time as it may determine, in the Council Chamber in the Riverside City Hall to consider and act upon the proposed Amendments and all documents and evidence pertaining thereto. Section 4. The Executive Director of the Agency shall, in cooperation with the City Clerk of the City of Riverside, prepare, publish and mail such notices and documents, and do all other acts as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
