RESOLUTION NO. 614 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A DISPOSITION <br /> AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND ADOPTING A <br /> MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside, <br />California ("Agency") has determined that the Agency's entry into and execution of a <br />Disposition and Development Agreement ("Agreement") between the Agency and Lee <br />& Associates Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. ("Lee & Associates"), a copy of <br />which has been made available for public inspection and copying in the City Clerk's <br />office, is necessary and appropriate and will benefit the Agency's Central Industrial <br />Redevelopment Project Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement is consistent with the intent and purposes of <br />the California Community Redevelopment Law, Health and Safety Code Section <br />33000, et seq.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the disposition of the property to be conveyed by the <br />Agreement is authorized by Health and Safety Code Section 33430; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the notices required by Health and Safety Code Sections <br />33431 and 33433 were published in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />community on January, 14 and 20, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Summary Report required by Health and Safety Code <br /> Section 33433 has been made available for public inspection and copying; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's staff has determined that the execution of the <br /> Agreement remains within the scope of the previously adopted mitigated negative <br /> declaration under Case No. EP-008-967, approved January 9, 1997, and as mitigated <br /> will not have a significant effect on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the foregoing, an initial study and a mitigated <br /> negative declaration have been prepared pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act ("CEQA"), the State CEQA Guidelines and the City's CEQA Guidelines; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City provided copies of the initial study and negative <br /> declaration to the public for review and comment pursuant to Public Resources Code <br /> Section 21091; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has considered all comments received regarding the <br /> negative declaration; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has carefully reviewed the final negative declaration <br /> and all of the information contained in the records pertaining to the Agreement; and <br /> <br /> <br />
