VC-002-978 <br /> <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 19215 <br /> <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, MAKING ITS FINDINGS AND <br />3 DETERMINATIONS IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION OF <br /> INTENTION NO. 19205; RESERVING A PERMANENT <br />4 EASEMENT AND RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES <br /> PURPOSES AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC <br />5 CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE <br /> RESERVATION OF SUCH EASEMENT; AND MAKING ITS <br />6 ORDER VACATING THE APPROXIMATELY 10-FOOT WIDE <br /> BY 7-FOOT LONG PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY SITUATED <br />7 BETWEEN HERMITAGE LANE AND VAN BUREN BOULEVARD. <br />8 WHEREAS, on December 16, 1997, the City Council of the <br />9 City of Riverside in Vacation Case No. VC-002-978 adopted <br />10 Resolution No. 19205 declaring its intention to order the vacation <br />11 of the approximately 10-foot wide by 7-foot long pedestrian <br />12 walkway situated between Hermitage Lane and Van Buren Boulevard <br />13 within the City of Riverside, California, and fixing the time and <br />14 place of hearing all persons interested in the proposed vacation <br />15 pursuant to the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways and <br />16 Service Easements Vacation Law, being Sections 8300 et seq. of <br />17 Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State <br />18 of California; and <br />19 WHEREAS, said proposed vacation had been previously <br />20 submitted to and considered by the Planning Commission of the City <br />21 of Riverside at a duly noticed public hearing; and <br />22 WHEREAS, following the close of the public hearing before <br />23 the Planning Commission, the Planning Commission determined that <br />24 the proposed project would not have a significant adverse affect <br />25 on the environment and that the City Council should adopt a <br />26 Negative Declaration, and that Vacation Case VC-002-978 should be <br />27 approved subject to all staff conditions; and <br />A~orney's O~ce <br />Street <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5557 F:kWPDATAkRESk97225402.BP <br /> <br /> <br />
