I^ I. : I :The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Bill Ran- : :kin representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce and a group :of Government students from Notre Dame High School. : :CONSIDERATION OF STAFF, BOARD AND COMMISSION REPORTS AND :RECOMMENDATIONS : :CONSENT CALENDAR :The following items were approved by one motion affirming the :. actions appropriate tothose items listed on the Consent Galen-: Idar and as submitted to the City Council for consideration, I :with the exception of items regarding Zoning Cases C-18-712 and: C-20-712, property acquisition on Main Street, fund transfer : :for Tyler widening and fund transfer for Library air ,conditioning. :BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT : :ZONING CASE V-36-712 - 3240 DAVID ST. - SIDE YARD VARIANCE :A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjust- : ment advising the City Council that; on November 15, 1971, the :Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, contrary to the Planning I :Department's recommendation, granted the request of Eva and : Eleanore Melnick, Zoning Case V-36-712, to construct a covered :patio attached to the main dwelling which would extend into the: :required southeasterly side yard at 3240 David Street; where- : :upon, it was the determination that this matter not be reviewed: :by the City Council. I I :ZONING CASE V-37-712 - 8546 SAN VICENTE - REAR YARD VARIANCE I :A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjust - :went advising the City Council that, on November 15, 1971, the :. :Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, granted the request of : :Johan Celosse, Zoning Case V-37-712, to enclose an existing :covered patio attached to the main dwelling, portions of which : :would extend into the required rear yard at 8546 San Vicente :Avenue:; whereupon, it was the determination that this matter :not be reviewed by the City Council.
