Y I Motion was made that the City enter into negotiations with the :owner of the Mission Inn for purchase along the terms offered :to the Mayor and City Manager and that these negotiations be contingent upon approval of Bond Counsel; the City Manager was ,directed to coordinate with the State of California, Division ,of Parks, activities which might aid in the preservation of the Mission Inn; and this to include securing necessary appraisals land other legal requirements in connection therewith. r j Discussion was resumed on the Substitute Motion, and. interested: :persons in the audience were given an opportunity tc be heard. : u1 second Substitute Motion was made that the site between .\'in tilt :and Tenth Streets be selected for the City Hall, andsteps be : taken to proceed to build the City Hall at that location, by :entering into the Joint Powers Agreement.
