i I ______________ I CITY OF RIVERSIDE August 3,_1970 WARDS ,At this point, to eliminate repetition, motion was made that :all service stations have the same criteria, which would refer 1 ,to the permission to have a maximum of 30 square feet, non- : 1portable, unlighted signs for the purpose of credit cards, : :trading stamps, State service signs and price signs, limited to Motion ,two locations on the business property, which applies to Item I Second 121, already acted upon. All Ayes I I ,Item 24 - C-4 Zone 1Motion was made that tentative approval be given the Planning I :Commission recommendations on signs for the C-4 Zone, with the I :following exceptions: First to provide for the criteria as : stated in the foregoing motion; then, in those instances where : :Zone C-4 is adjacent to a freeway to permit one freestanding :sign 45 feet in height, or, in addition to the freestanding I :sign be permitted to have one 16 square foot sign 6 feet in :height; or, instead of a freestanding sign, permit 100 square lieet in two signs not to exceed 20 feet in height for a total : :of 100 square feet; and, those service stations in conjunction : Motion lwith C-4 Shopping Centers remain as stated in the present rec- 1 Second lommendation of the Commission.
