12/27/79 <br />BP/jm <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> lO <br /> <br /> ll <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br />~5 <br /> <br />~6 <br /> <br />~8 <br /> <br />m9 <br /> <br /> 20 <br /> <br /> 21 <br /> <br /> 22 <br /> <br />~5 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />~7 <br /> <br />~8 <br /> <br />29 <br /> <br />30 <br /> <br />32 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13977 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF <br />PROPERTY TAX REVENUE TO BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN THE <br />COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE AND THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />RELATING TO ANNEXATION NUMBER 50 TO THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, LAFC NO. 79-48-5. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ozf <br />Riverside, California, that: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The County of Riverside and the City of <br />Riverside are the agencies whose area or responsibility ~for <br />service would be affected by Annexation No. 50 to the City of <br />Riverside, designated LAFC No. 79-48-5. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Representatives of each of the affected <br />agencies have met and negotiated an exchange of property tax <br />revenue to become effective for tax purposes beginning July 1, <br />1981, as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The City of Riverside shall assume the service <br /> responsibility for the suppression and prevention <br /> of structural fires in the area to be annexed, <br /> for which purpose it maintains a fire department, <br /> and for such service assumption shall receive <br /> 100% of that portion of the property tax revenue <br /> generated within the territory to be annexed that <br /> is presently collected by the County of Riverside <br /> as a structural fire protection tax. <br /> <br /> (b) The City of Riverside shall assume the service <br /> responsibility for the provision of Library <br /> Services for which purpose it maintains a <br /> library system, and for such service assumption <br /> shall receive 100% of that portion of the property <br /> tax revenue generated within the territory to be <br /> annexed that is presently collected by the County <br /> of Riverside for provision of library services. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />RiV!I;iliDIr <br /> <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> <br />
