1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> 20 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />29 <br /> <br />3o <br /> <br />31 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13991 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT <br /> OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY REMOVING APPROXI- <br /> MATELY 10.6 ACRES IN THE 5100 AND 5200 BLOCKS OF <br /> ARLINGTON AVENUE SITUATED 500 FEET SOUTH OF ARLINGTON <br /> AVENUE AND 550 FEET WEST OF MADISON STREET FROM THE <br /> RETAIL BUSINESS AND OFFICES LAND USE DESIGNATION AND <br /> BY PLACING SUCH LAND IN THE HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> LAND USE DESIGNATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside <br />has duly advertised for and held a public hearing to consider <br />the proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the Riverside <br />General Plan, the public hearing having been held at City Hall <br />on February 23, 1978, and the Planning Commission has considered <br />the evidence presented at the hearing, and has recommended to the <br />City Council that the Land Use Element of the Riverside General <br />Plan be amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Environmental Protection Commission of the <br />City of Riverside has considered this amendment at its regular <br />meeting held at City Hall on March 15, 1978 and has determined <br />that the proposed amendment to the General Plan will not have <br />a significant effect on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Riverside has <br /> <br />duly advertised for and held a public hearing to consider the <br />proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan, <br />the public hearing having been held at City Hall on June 20, <br />1978, and the City Council has considered the evidence presented <br />at the hearing, and has considered the recommendations of the <br />Planning Commission and the Environmental Protection Co~nission; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of Riverside that the City Council adopts as its <br />findings the Planning Staff Report and the Environmental Assess- <br />ment on Case GP-12-778 and further finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1.
