CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor & Agency Members <br /> <br /> Date: June 20, 2000 <br />Item No.: 2 <br /> <br />Subject: Request Approval of the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Loans and Grants <br /> (Arlanza/La Sierra and Casa B!anca Areas) <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of their contract, the Riverside Housing Development Corporation (RHDC) has <br />determined that the following applicants are eligible to participate in the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation <br />Loan/Grant Programs. These applicants are as follows: <br /> <br />12 095 Michael & Christine St. Onge 4124 Yukon Way (05) HA/G $5,000.00 <br /> <br />Funds will be used to make master bathroom and kitchen fully accessible to wheelchair bound owner. Additional <br />funds from Christmas in April will be used to complete the project. Owner has lived in property for 11 years and <br />has received no prior assistance. Yard is landscaped and well maintained. <br /> <br />12 038 Kinny G. Salas 7550 Peters Road (04) CB S/G $5,000.00 <br /> CB D/L $30,000.00 <br /> <br />Funds will be used to replace roof, build carport, install new windows, smoke detectors, interior and exterior <br />doors, replace flooring and hot water heater, replace plumbing, remodel kitchen and bring electrical up to code. <br />Owner has lived in property for 32 years and has received no prior assistance.
