1 a general tax to the qualified electors pursuant to Article X111 C, Section 2(b) of the California 2 Constitution. The election was consolidated with the regularly scheduled general election for 3 members of the governing body of the local government as required by Article XIII C, Section 4 2(b). Resolution Nos, 22502 and 22503 were adopted by the City Council on March 5, 2013, 5 proposing the general tax as an amendment to the City Charter and submitting the amendment to 6 the qualified electors. 7 Section 4: The general tax was submitted to the qualified electors and designated as 8 Measure A on the ballot. The Riverside Local Services and Clean Water measure added Section 9 1204.1 to the City Charter to authorize a general tax on charges for service by the City's water 10 utility pursuant to Article XIII C, Section 2(b) of the California Constitution, 11 Section 5: That all voter ballots were cast by mail in the City of Riverside; that the 12 whole number of votes cast in the Second Ward in the City of Riverside was 3,482; that the 13 whole number of votes cast in the Third Ward in the City of Riverside was 5,614; that the whole 14 number of votes cast in the Fourth Ward in the City was 4,078; that the whole number of votes 15 cast in the Sixth Ward was 2,826; and the whole number of votes cast Citywide was 25,268. 16 Section 6: That the names of the persons voted for at said election and the office which 17 each person was voted for are as follows: 18 CITY COUNCIL, WARD 2.. 19 ANDREW S.
