<br />AGREEMENT FOR <br /> <br />Building Demolition and Lot Clearing at <br />3570 Ninth Street (Schacker Building) and <br />3960/3964 Orange Street (Jimenez Building) <br />On this 2nd day of June, 2000, the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE, a public entity, hereinafter referred to as "Agency", and Clauss <br /> <br />Construction, 8956 Winter Gardens Boulevard, Lakeside, CA 92040, State Contractor's <br /> <br />License No. 630564 hereinafter referred to as "Contractor", mutually agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials for, and perform the <br /> <br />work of site clearing, debris removal, building demolition and removal, foundation <br /> <br />removal, asphalt concrete pavement removal, environmental abatement, and general site <br /> <br />grading at 3570 Ninth Street (Schacker Building), and 3960/3964 Orange Street (Jimenez <br /> <br />Building) which is covered in Contractor's Bid Proposal (the "Work"). Contractor shall <br /> <br />perform the Work in accordance with the provisions and requirements of the following <br /> <br />Contract Documents: Notice Inviting Bids (Bid No. 5719); Agency's Special Provisions, <br /> <br />and Proposal Forms; the 1997 Edition of the Standard Specifications for Public Works <br /> <br />Construction ("Standard Specifications") written by the Joint Cooperative Committee of <br /> <br />the Southern California Chapter, American Public Works Association, and the Southern <br /> <br />California Districts, Associated General Contractors of California; Contractor's Proposal <br /> <br />and Bid Schedule, performance bond and payment bond; this Agreement; and all <br /> <br />documents, maps, texts and items referred to in the foregoing documents.
