Adopt the attached Resolution amending the Conflict of Interest Code for designated <br /> City employees and officials, thereby repealing Resolution No. 22138; and <br /> 2. Adopt the attached Resolution amending the Conflict of Interest Code for City board and <br /> commission members, thereby repealing Resolution No. 21292. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> On June 12, 2012, the City Council directed the City Clerk and City Attorney to coordinate the <br /> review of the Conflict of Interest Codes for City employees, officials, and board and <br /> commission members before October 1, 2012. On September 18, 2012, the City Council <br /> determined that revisions were necessary and directed the City Clerk and City Attorney to <br /> amend the Conflict of Interest Codes for City employees, officials, and board and commission <br /> members for adoption by December 18, 2012. <br /> The Conflict of Interest Code for City board and commission members was last revised on <br /> December 19, 20067 by adoption of Resolution No. 21292. Changes that have occurred since <br /> 2006 include the deletion of the Downtown Parking Committee and Redevelopment Project <br /> Area Committees, and the name changes of the Parking, Traffic and Streets Commission and <br /> the Municipal Museum Board to the Transportation Board and Metropolitan Museum Board, <br /> respectively. <br /> 20-1 <br />
