LOVERIDGE - <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Following discussion, the City Council adopted a resolution recognizing and <br /> honoring Mayor Ronald O. Loveridge; whereupon, the title having been read <br /> and further reading waived, Resolution No. 22479 of the City Council of the <br /> City of Riverside, California, Recognizing and Honoring Ronald O. Loveridge Motion X <br /> for 33 Years as an Elected Officer for the City of Riverside, was presented Second X <br /> and adopted. Vivian Moreno spoke regarding Mayor Loveridge. <br /> ECONOMIC SUCCESS REPORT <br /> Councilmember Gardner reported on Sullivan Solar Power. <br /> DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br /> WARD 3 VACANCY <br /> The City Council approved the recommendation of Mayor Pro Tern Bailey to <br /> (1) fill the vacancy in Ward 3 by appointment, the appointee to serve until a <br /> successor is elected by the voters; (2) follow the established board and <br /> commission appointment process of application, interview by Mayor and City <br /> Council, and appointment by the City Council to be administered by the City Motion X <br /> Clerk; and (3) adopted the timeline for acceptance of applications, interview, Second X <br /> and appointment as outlined in the written staff report.
