L i / 3 -01I <br />1 RESOLUTION NO. 17354 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CANYON SPRINGS SPECIFIC PLAN AND THE <br />3 LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN PURSUANT TO THE <br />FINDINGS AND CONDITIONS OF CASE SPA -4 -889. <br />4 <br />5 WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Commission of the City of Riverside, <br />6 California, considered a proposed amendment to the Canyon. Springs Specific Plan and the Land <br />7 Use Element of the Riverside General Plan (Case SPA -4 -889) at its meeting held on May 10, 1989 <br />8 and determined that the approval of Case SPA -4 -889 will not have a significant effect on the <br />9 environment; and <br />10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside, California, advertised for <br />11 and held a public hearing on April 20, 1989 to consider Case SPA -4 -889 and recommended to the <br />12 City Council that Case SPA. -4 -889 be approved; and <br />13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, advertised for and held <br />14 a public hearing on May 23. 1989 to consider Case SPA -4 -889; <br />15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, <br />16 California, that the City Council finds as follows: <br />17 1. It is in the public interest to amend the Canyon Springs Specific Plan and the Land <br />18 Use Element of the Riverside General Plan as more particularly described below. <br />19 2. The amendment will not have a significant effect on the environment. <br />20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the revisions proposed by the applicant to the <br />21 Development Agreement and the Canyon Springs Specific Plan with the exception of (a) the <br />22 proposed deletion of the requirements in the Specific Plan for landscape and building setbacks for <br />23 the Eucalyptus Avenue frontage of Planning Area 6; (b) deletion of the existing parking standard for <br />24 the proposed regional mall (one space for each 250 square feet of gross leasable area), and (c) the <br />25 asterisked reference at the bottom of Exhibit C to the Development Agreement should indicate. <br />26 "City Code as of April 23, 1986." <br />27 111 <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Mein Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 782 -5567 <br />Note: Ronald Loveridge was not Mayor on <br />1- 16 -90.
