The public hearing was <br />officially closed. Following discussion, the City Council (1) determined that <br />the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment <br />based upon the findings set forth in the case record and adopted a Negative <br />Declaration; and (2) upheld the decision of the Planning Commission and <br />approved Cases P11-0627 and P11-0628 based on and subject to the <br />Motion <br />X <br />Planning Commission findings and revised recommended conditions as <br />Second <br />X <br />outlined in the written staff reports and denied the appeal. <br />All Ayes <br />Councilmember Davis disqualified himself from participating in the following <br />A <br />item as he has a business in the Arlington Business Improvement District and <br />he is a member of the Board of Directors and left the dais. <br />ARLINGTON BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 2012-13 LEVY - <br />RESOLUTION <br />Hearing was called to consider an approval of the annual assessment for <br />Fiscal Year 2012-13 in the Arlington Business Improvement District (ABID). <br />Three people spoke regarding the matter. The public hearing was officially <br />closed. Following discussion, the City Council (1) confirmed the September <br />2012 Annual Report of the Arlington Business Partnership acting in its <br />capacity as the advisory board to the ABID; (2) directed the Arlington <br />Business Partnership to (i) expend revenues derived from the ABID <br />assessment and the $100,000 matching grant from the City; and (ii) operate <br />programs and activities in accordance with Chapter 3.48 of the Riverside <br />Municipal Code and the September 2012 Annual Report; and (3) adopted a <br />resolution to impose the levy for the ABID for business tax year 2012-13; <br />98-87 <br />
