1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19628 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE <br />GENERAL PLAN TO PLACE INTO THE HUNTER BUSINESS PARK SPECIFIC <br />PLAN THE APPROXIMATELY 132 ACRES LOCATED EASTERLY OF THE <br />EXISTING CITY LIMITS GENERALLY BETWEEN TERMINUS OF PALMYRITA <br />AVENUE AND COLUMBIA AVENUE PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED TO THE <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE AS PART OF CASE ANX-089 KNOWN AS "ANNEXATION <br />NO. 89--VIVIENDA RANCH, LOCATED EASTERLY OF THE EXISTING CITY <br />LIMITS GENERALLY BETWEEN THE EASTERLY TERMINUS OF PALMYRITA <br />AVENUE AND COLUMBIA AVENUE." <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside advertised for and held a <br />public hearing on December 9, 1999, to consider an amendment to the General Plan of the City of <br />Riverside to change the land use designation of the approximately 132 acres situated easterly of the <br />existing City limits generally between the easterly terminus of Palmyrita Avenue and Columbia <br />Avenue proposed to be annexed to the City of Riverside in Case ANX-089 known as "Annexation <br />No. 89--Vivienda Ranch, located easterly of the existing City limits generally between the easterly <br />terminus of Palmyrita Avenue and Columbia Avenue" I~om Low Density Residential and Hillside <br />Residential to a more appropriate land use designation or designations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside considered the Initial <br />Study for Annexation No. 89 --Vivienda Ranch, located easterly of the existing City limits generally <br />between the easterly terminus of Palmyrita Avenue and Columbia Avenue on December 9, 1999, <br />and determined that the annexation will not have a significant effect on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside advertised for and held a public <br />hearing on January 11, 2000, to consider the proposal to amend the Riverside General Plan to <br />include the portion of the annexation within the boundaries of the proposed conceptual plan and <br />shown in Exhibit A within the boundaries of the Hunter Business Park Specific Plan; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, FOUND AND DETERMINED by the City <br />Council of the City of Riverside, California, as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1: It is in the public interest to amend the Land Use Element of the l~,iverside <br />General Plan and the Hunter Business Park Specific Plan as more particularly described below. <br /> <br />CityAttorney's Office <br />3900Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 782-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
