RESOLUTION NO. 19627 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE MISSION GROVE SPECIFIC PLAN TO AMEND <br />THE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR SETBACKS AND WALL AND <br />PARKWAY IMPROVEMENTS ADJACENT TO RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT IN <br />TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 28828 (REVISED) AND TO ESTABLISH A SHARED <br />COST FOR MAINTENANCE OF THOSE IMPROVEMENTS ADJACENT TO <br />TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 28828. <br /> <br />6 <br /> WHEREAS, an application was made by Canty Engineering Group, Inc., to amend the <br />7 <br /> Mission Grove Specific Plan (Zoning Case SP-003-990) by reducing the average landscaped setback <br />8 <br /> along the west side of Trautwein Road adjacent to tentative Tract Map 28828 from 20 feet to 13 <br />9 <br /> I~et, and increasing the building setback from 30 feet to 37 feet; and <br />10 <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside, California, advertised for <br />11 <br /> and held a public hearing on October 21, 1999, to consider Case SP-003-990 and following the <br />12 <br /> public hearing, recommended to the City Council that Case SP-003-990 be denied; and <br />13 <br /> WHEREAS, fiMlowing an appeal of Canty Engineering Group, Inc., the City Council of <br />14 <br /> the City of Riverside, California, advertised for and held a public hearing on December 14, 1999, to <br />15 <br /> consider Case SP-003-990; <br />16 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, <br />17 <br /> California, that the City Council finds as follows: <br />18 <br /> 1. It is in the public interest to amend the Mission Grove Specific Plan of the <br />19 <br /> Riverside General Plan as more particularly set forth below. <br />20 <br /> 2. The City Council has determined that this amendment will not have a significant <br />21 <br /> affect on the environment. <br />22 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the text of the Mission Grove Specific Plan of the <br />23 <br /> Riverside General Plan is hereby amended by amending the following policies of subsection B. 2., <br />24 <br /> Parkways and Setbacks of Section 111. DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS to read as follows: <br />25 <br /> "2. Funding of ongoing maintenance responsibilities shall be based on the <br />26 following formula: Except for the 20 foot landscaped setback adjacent to Tentative Tract <br /> 28828 (Revised), the City shall fund the ongoing maintenance of 6 feet and the private <br />27 developer shall fund maintenance of the balance.
