CU-021-990 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19621 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE RENDERING ITS DECISION GRANTING THE APPEAL <br />FOR A MINOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT SUBJECT TO SPECIFIC <br />CONDITIONS AT 3812 PIERCE ST., UNIT B, RIVERSIDE, CA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside conducted a public hearing on <br /> December 14, 1999, in the matter of the appeal by applicant Fred Chandler on behalf of legal owner, <br /> Stephen J. Mascaro in Zoning Case CU-021-990 for a minor conditional use permit to allow the on- <br /> sale of beer and wine in a bar to be located in an existing lease space at 3812 Pierce Street, Unit B, <br /> in the C-2-Restricted Commercial Zone. The original application having been denied by the <br />10 Planning Commission on November 18, 1999 and thereafter, appealed by applicant on November <br />11 29, 1999. <br />12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside <br />13 that it is hereby found and determined from the facts and conditions shown by the evidence at the <br />14 public hearing and by the previous investigation of the Planning Commission that the proposed use, <br />15 as previously denied by the Planning Department, could be modified to be substantially compatible <br />16 with other existing and proposed uses in the area, including factors relating to the nature of its <br />17 location, operation, building design, site design, traffic characteristics and environmental impacts; <br />18 the proposed use will not be materially detrimental to the health, safety and general welfare of the <br />19 public or otherwise injurious to the environment or to the property or improvements within the area; <br />20 and the proposed use will be consistent with the purposes of Title 19 of the Riverside Municipal <br />21 Code. <br />22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a minor conditional use permit is hereby granted in <br />23 Zoning Case CU-021-990; and subject to compliance with all required terms and conditions of this <br />24 use permit, including, but not limited to the following amended conditions: <br />25 (1) Condition No. 10 shall be amended to set hours of operation to be 10:00 a.m. to <br />26 12:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday; <br />27 (2) Appellant shall prepare and provide a security plan to the City of Riverside Police <br /> <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 782-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
