1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19618 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE <br />GENERAL PLAN TO PLACE INTO THE INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS PARK AND <br />PUBLIC PARK DESIGNATIONS THE APPROXIMATELY 132 ACRES LOCATED <br />EASTERLY OF THE EXISTING CITY LIMITS GENERALLY BETWEEN <br />TERMINUS OF PALMYRITA AVENUE AND COLUMBIA AVENUE PROPOSED <br />TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE AS PART OF CASE ANX-089 <br />KNOWN AS "ANNEXATION NO. 89--VIVIENDA RANCH, LOCATED EASTERLY <br />OF THE EXISTING CITY LIMITS GENERALLY BETWEEN THE EASTERLY <br />TERMINUS OF PALMYRITA AVENUE AND COLUMBIA AVENUE." <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside advertised for and held a <br />9 public hearing on December 9, 1999, to consider an amendment to the General Plan of the City of <br />10 Riverside to change the land use designation of the approximately 132 acres situated easterly of the <br />11 existing City limits generally between the easterly terminus of Palmyrita Avenue and Columbia <br />12 Avenue proposed to be annexed to the City of Riverside in Case ANX-089 known as "Annexation <br />13 No. 89--Vivienda Ranch, located easterly of the existing City limits generally between the easterly <br />14 terminus of Palmyrita Avenue and Columbia Avenue" from Low Density Residential and Hillside <br />15 Residential to a more appropriate land use designation or designations; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission following the close of the public hearing <br />17 determined that the territory included within Annexation No. 89 should be placed in the Industrial <br />18 Business Park and Public Park land use designations and removed from the Low Density <br />19 Residential and Hillside Residential land use designations; and <br />20 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside considered the Initial <br />21 Study fbr Annexation No. 89 --Vivienda Ranch, located easterly of the existing City limits generally <br />22 between the easterly terminus of Palmyrita Avenue and Columbia Avenue on December 9, 1999, <br />23 and determined that the annexation will not have a significant effect on the environment; and <br />24 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside advertised for and held a public <br />25 hearing on January 11, 2000, to consider the proposal to amend the Riverside General Plan to <br />26 change the land use designation to a more appropriate land use designation; <br />27 /// <br /> <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 782-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
