RESOLUTION NO. 19617 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA,DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL TO EXECUTE MASTER <br />AGREEMENT 08-000058 BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND 'FHE <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR ALL LOCAL AGENCY ADMINISTERED PROJECTS <br />FUNDED THROUGH THE STATE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM AND ALL SUBSEQUENT PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTS. <br /> <br />6 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California does resolve as follows: <br />7 WHEREAS, the State of California has enacted legislation, by which certain state funds are <br />8 made available for use on local transportation hcilities; and <br />9 WHEREAS, the City of Riverside has applied to the State for $600,000 in said funding for <br />10 the Magnolia Avenue Rehabilitation project between Van Buren Boulevard and La Sierra Avenue; <br />11 and <br />12 WHEREAS, before State funds will be available to the City for this project and future <br />13 State-funded projects, the City must enter into a master agreement for the use of State funds from <br />14 the State Transportation Improvement Program or other programs defined in the Local Assistance <br />15 Program Guidelines; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the State of Cali/i~rnia, Department of Transportation has submitted said <br />17 master agreement to the City and has requested that the City execute said agreement and return the <br />18 agreement to the State with a certified copy of a resolution adopted by the City of River'side which <br />19 designates the official authorized to execute the agreement; and <br />20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, <br />21 California, as follows: <br />22 Section 1: The City is authorized to enter into the Master Agreement: City of Riverside, <br />23 State of California, Agreement for State-funded projects (Agreement No. 08-000058) ("Master <br />24 Agreement"). <br />25 Section 2: The Public Works Director is the designated official to execute the Master <br />26 Agreement and all subsequent Program Supplements. <br />27 Section 3: The provisions of this resolution shall be effective upon adoption. <br /> <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 782-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
