Schedule TED and Schedule BR—Page 5 <br /> hearing one letter was received in support of Schedule TED and is attached to this report. <br /> Effective Date <br /> Both Electric Rate Schedules go into effect following adoption by the Board of Public Utilities <br /> and approval by the City Council. Under the current proposed timing, Schedule TED will take <br /> effect on September 1, 2012 and billed with the initial billing cycles on October 1, 2012. The <br /> extension to Schedule BR will be effective upon City Council approval. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> There is no negative fiscal impact from these rates. By offering Schedule TED, new customers <br /> immediately pay all power and transmission costs, while phasing in full distribution costs. <br /> Schedule TED will result in increased revenues to RPU and the General Fund, job creation <br /> and attraction of businesses. Schedule BR will allow for continued operations in the City and <br /> result in continued revenues to RPU and the General Fund. <br /> Prepared by: David H.
