1. <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11. <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />78 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE OVERSIGHT BOARD FOR SUCCESSOR <br />AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY <br />TO EXECUTE A CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND ALL <br />NECESSARY DISPOSITION DOCUMENTS IN RELATION TO <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1865, 1875 AND 1910 UNIVERSITY <br />AVENUE, CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA <br />WHEREAS, on January 1.0, 2012, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 22322 re- <br />affirming the authorization of the City of Riverside to become the Successor Agency to the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside ( "Successor Agency ") pursuant to ABxl 26; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent legislation entitled "Assembly Bill 1484 ", signed into lave on June <br />27, 2012, makes substantive amendments to ABx1 26 and specifically includes a requirement, set <br />forth at Health & Safety Code section 34179(e), that all actions taken by the oversight board be <br />adopted by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the former Redevelopment Agency entered into that certain Purchase and Sale <br />Agreement dated March 21, 2011 with Giang Nguyen ( "Agreement I ") in relation to property <br />located at 1865 and 1875 University Avenue ( "Property I ") and escrow is anticipated to close on or <br />about September 21, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, the former Redevelopment Agency entered into that certain Purchase and Sale <br />Agreement dated March 21, 2011 with Giang Nguyen ( "Agreement 2 ") in relation to property <br />located at 1910 University Avenue ( "Property 2 ") and escrow is anticipated to close on or about <br />,September 21, 2013; and <br />WHEREAS, Property 1 and Property 2 are currently held in the naive of the City of <br />Riverside; and <br />WHEREAS, Property 1 and Property 2 are, in fact, assets of the Successor Agency and the <br />City desires to convey Property ,1 and Property 2 to the Successor Agency in order for the Successor <br />Agency to satisfy the requirements of Agreement I and Agreement 2, respectively; and <br />CITY Ar roR,,JEvs origCYi <br />3990 MAIN SIW- -ET <br />RrveRS -E, CA 92522 <br />(95I) Alb -55fi7 <br />
