CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor & Agency Members <br /> <br /> Date: March 21, 2000 <br />Item No.: ~* <br /> <br />Subject: Request Approval of the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Loans and Grants <br /> (Citywide, Eastside, Downtown and Magno~a Center) <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of their contract, the Riverside Housing Development Corporation (Rt-IDC) has <br />determined that the following applicants are eligible to participate in the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation <br />Loan/Grant Programs. These applicants are as follows: <br /> <br />12 028 Isabella Johnson 3927 Ottawa Avenue (07) CW S/G $5,000.00 <br />Funds will be used to install new garage door, screens, bring hot water heater up to code, up-grade electrical <br />service and install smoke detectors. Owner has lived at property for 24 years and has received no prior assistance. <br />Yard is landscaped and very well maintained. <br /> <br />12 022 Stephen Heard <br /> <br />4920Granada Avenue (04) <br /> <br />CW HA/G $1,315.00 <br /> <br />Funds will be used to install wood handrails at front porch, grab bars in both restrooms, and one handicapped <br />toilet. Resident has lived there 6 years (home is owned by his sisters).
