Karen Wright spoke <br />regarding the Mayor's absence, candidate forums, redistricting, and the <br />Mayor's Election. Marie Grant and Lynn Munoz spoke regarding the <br />homeless. <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br />The City Council and the Housing Authority recessed to the City Council <br />Board Room for a joint closed session pursuant to Government Code <br />§54956.8 to instruct City/Housing Authority's Negotiator, Scott C. Barber, <br />regarding price and terms of payment for the purchase, sale, exchange or <br />lease of 4620 High Street, APN: 221-191-018, by Veterans Realty Group; <br />Gretchen McCroskey, Negotiator. <br />The Successor Agency to Redevelopment Agency recessed to the City <br />Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code <br />(1) §54956.8 to instruct City's Negotiator, Scott C. Barber, regarding price <br />and terms of payment for the purchase, sale, exchange or lease of <br />3651 Main Street, APN: 213-222-007, by Magnolia's; Melissa Schouten, <br />Negotiator; and (2) §54956.8 to instruct Agency's Negotiator, Scott C. Barber, <br />regarding price and terms of payment for the purchase, sale, exchange or <br />lease of 3653 Main Street, APN: 213-222-007, by Delights and Invites; David <br />St. Pierre and Peggy Roa, Negotiators. <br />The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed <br />sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.9(a) to confer with and/or <br />receive advice from legal counsel concerning City of Riverside v. Hector T. <br />Duarte, et al., Riverside Superior Court Case No. RIC 542627; <br />(2) §54956.9(a) to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel <br />concerning City of Riverside v. Oaktree Riverside, LP, et al., Riverside <br />Superior Court Case No. RIC 10022411; and (3) §54957.6 to review the City <br />Council's position and instruct designated representatives regarding salaries, <br />salary schedules, or compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits of all <br />Executive Management employees, all Management and Confidential <br />employees as defined by PERS, Fire Management Unit, Riverside City <br />97-271 <br />
