FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />CONTACT: Marnice Smith <br />PHONE: 951 - 684 -4688 <br />EMAIL: marnice@msnhglobal.org <br />1st ANNUAL MEETING SENIORS NEEDS HOTLINE (MSNH) RED CARPET FASHION SHOW <br />GALA/LUNCHEON <br />Meeting Seniors Needs Hotline and The Grove Community Church Legacy Adult Senior Ministry <br />collaborate on Red Carpet Fashion Show benefit to raise funds for senior advocacy that <br />includes local seniors, veterans and disabled persons. <br />(RIVERSIDE, CA) April 13, 2012 - Meeting Seniors Needs Hotline (MSNH) founder Marnice Smith and Legacy <br />Senior Ministry Pastor John Bowers of The Grove Community Church, both located in Riverside, collaborate on <br />Red Carpet Fashion Show to be held at The Grove Community Church in Riverside, CA on June 9, 2012 from <br />11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. <br />Founded in 2009, MSNH is a 501(c)(s) non - profit organization that provides Senior Lifestyle Advocates dedicated <br />to preserving the rights and lifestyles of seniors, as well as veterans and persons with disabilities. Their "Unique <br />Free Service Approach" provides free assistance with many unresolved issues and matters pertaining to housing, <br />claims, and available resources. <br />MSNH provides hands -on support with completing forms, preparing necessary documents, and making phone <br />calls, eliminating the frustration of today's automated phone systems and customer service. MSNH currently <br />serves the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties. Marnice Smith <br />adds, "MSNH's goal is to bring together family members, community based organizations, and government <br />entities to remember our seniors; they are not to be forgotten. The goal is to raise funds to support MSNH in their <br />quest of advocacy to continue to provide much needed services to our seniors, veterans and disabled persons." <br />"It is the mission of the Legacy Senior Adult Ministry to encourage all Seniors to Finish Strong," notes Pastor <br />Bowers. The Grove Community Church is located in the Orangecrest/Mission Grove area of Riverside with <br />approximately 200 Senior Legacy Ministry members. "Our goal is to strengthen the body and soul for the days <br />ahead by continuing to develop and maintain positive relations with God and others. I believe that the mission of <br />MSNH is consistent with our concerns" adds Pastor Bowers. <br />The Red Carpet Event will feature local celebrities; former Running Back San Francisco 49er Kermit Alexander, <br />Derrel Thomas former LA Dodger, seniors, veterans and disabled persons from local senior centers within <br />Riverside and Moreno Valley and from The Grove's Legacy Senior Adult Ministry. All of the models are <br />celebrities. Alexander's wife, Tami, will be emceeing the event with a splash of Sparkle & Comedy (Tami's stage <br />name); both husband and wife are members of The Grove Community Church. <br />This event is aimed at raising funds for MSNH and will include live jazz entertainment by Vaughn Fahie "Sax 4 <br />God," summer fashions by Alfred Angelo Bridal, Steinmart and JoS A Bank, students from Riverside Training <br />Center for makeup, Cindy Bleier owner of Picassos Colour Studio for hair and Geri Murillo for fashion show <br />choreography. Lunch is included in the ticket price.
