Carmen <br />Vargas spoke regarding protesting the murder of Trayvon Martin. Mary <br />Shelton spoke regarding government. Raychele Sterling spoke regarding <br />City employees, campaigning, and fiscal responsibility. Dvonne Pitruzzello <br />spoke regarding City finances and Public Records Act requests. Vivian <br />Moreno spoke regarding bank accountability and public records requests. <br />Amber Jones spoke regarding education. <br />BRIEF STATUS REPORTS FOR REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, <br />CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, AND MEETINGS ATTENDED BY MAYOR <br />AND CITY COUNCIL <br />Councilmember Melendrez reported on an upcoming community meeting at <br />Villegas Park regarding redistricting. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Motion <br />X <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions <br />Second <br />X <br />appropriate to each item. <br />All Ayes <br />REIMBURSEMENT - CODE ENFORCEMENT - 4674 NORTON - <br />SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION <br />The City Council (1) accepted $5,000 in reimbursement for costs and <br />attorney's fees associated with code enforcement action and rehabilitation of <br />4674 Norton Place; and (2) increased revenues and appropriated <br />expenditures in the amount of $5,000 to Special Program Account 1300000- <br />97-241 <br />
