1 6 Annexation ~o. 51 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 - 28 28 30 31 32 -'~'~TY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 15249 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY PLACING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION NO. 51 IN THE RETAIL BUSINESS AND OFFICE LAND USE DESIGNA- TION AND THE INDUSTRIAL PARK LAND USE DESIGNATION, BY RETAINING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION NO. 51 IN THE HIGH DENSITY INDUSTRY LAND USE DESIGNATION AND BY INCORPORATING THE CANYON SPRINGS SPECIFIC PLAN INTO THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside advertised for and held a public hearing on December 22, 1983 to consider amendments to the Riverside General Plan for proposed Annexation No. 51, and the Planning Commission has recommended to the City Council that the General Plan be amended; and WHEREAS the Environmental Protection Commission of the City of Riverside considered the amendments on December 14, 1983 and determined that the amendments will not have a significant effect on the environment; and WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Riverside adver- tised for and held a public hearing on January 17, 1984 to con- sider the proposed amendments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside that the City Council finds as follows: 1. It is in the public interest to amend the General Plan as more particularly described below. 2. The amendments will not have a significant effect on the environment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Riverside General Plan is hereby amended as follows: 1. By placing in the Retail Business and Office land use designation that property located within the boundaries of proposed Annexation No. 51 and shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, as RBO.
