1 <br /> <br /> 6 <br />Annexation <br />~o. 51 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> 9 <br /> 10 <br /> 11 <br /> 12 <br /> 13 <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br />- 28 <br /> 28 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> <br /> -'~'~TY ATTORNEY <br /> RIVERSIDE <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15249 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE RIVERSIDE <br />GENERAL PLAN BY PLACING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED <br />WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION NO. 51 <br />IN THE RETAIL BUSINESS AND OFFICE LAND USE DESIGNA- <br />TION AND THE INDUSTRIAL PARK LAND USE DESIGNATION, <br />BY RETAINING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION NO. 51 IN THE <br />HIGH DENSITY INDUSTRY LAND USE DESIGNATION AND BY <br />INCORPORATING THE CANYON SPRINGS SPECIFIC PLAN INTO <br />THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside <br />advertised for and held a public hearing on December 22, 1983 <br />to consider amendments to the Riverside General Plan for proposed <br />Annexation No. 51, and the Planning Commission has recommended <br />to the City Council that the General Plan be amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Environmental Protection Commission of the <br />City of Riverside considered the amendments on December 14, 1983 <br />and determined that the amendments will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Riverside adver- <br />tised for and held a public hearing on January 17, 1984 to con- <br />sider the proposed amendments; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Riverside that the City Council finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. It is in the public interest to amend the General <br />Plan as more particularly described below. <br /> <br /> 2. The amendments will not have a significant effect <br /> <br />on the environment. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Riverside General Plan <br />is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. By placing in the Retail Business and Office land <br />use designation that property located within the boundaries of <br />proposed Annexation No. 51 and shown on Exhibit A, attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein, as RBO. <br /> <br /> <br />
