1 2 3 4 5 6 7 GP-28-790 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 28 30 31 32 CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALl FORNI A RESOLUTION NO. 15245 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY DELETING THE NATURAL ARROYO AND MEDIUM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE DESIGNATIONS FROM APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRES SITUATED ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF FAIRGROUNDS STREET AND ON THE EASTERLY SIDE OF THE UNIVERSITY WASH-SPRINGBROOK STORM DRAIN CHANNEL WESTERLY OF FAIRMOUNT BOULEVARD AND BY PLACING THIS PROPERTY IN THE HIGH DENSITY INDUSTRY LAND USE DESIGNATION. WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside advertised for and held a public hearing on June 19, 1980 to consider an amendment to the Land Use Element of the Riverside General Plan as proposed by Case GP-28-790, and the Planning Commission has recommended to the City Council that the General Plan be amended; and WHEREAS the Environmental Protection Commission of the City of Riverside considered this amendment on June 11, 1980 and determined that this amendment will not have a significant effect on the environment; and WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Riverside adver- tised for and held a public hearing on July 29, 1980 to consider the proposed amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, that the City Council finds as follows: 1. It is in the public interest to amend the Land Use Element of the Riverside General Plan as more particularly described below. 2. The amendment will not have a significant effect on the environment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Land Use Element of the Riverside General Plan is hereby amended by deleting the Natural Arroyo and the Medium Low Density Residential land use designations from approximately four acres situated on the northerly side of
