COUNCIL/AGENCY <br />MEMBERS <br />- - CITY COUNCIL, <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, <br />AND <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />MINUTES <br />TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2012,2 P.M. <br />L I ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />CITY HALL <br />City of Arts Unnovation 3900 MAIN STREET <br />WARDS <br />G <br />R <br />ND <br />E <br />R <br />1 <br />M <br />L <br />N <br />D <br />R <br />E <br />z <br />2 <br />B <br />IA <br />E <br />Y <br />3 <br />D <br />V <br />S <br />4 <br />M <br />C <br />A <br />R <br />T <br />H <br />U <br />R <br />5 <br />H <br />R <br />T <br />6 <br />A <br />A <br />S <br />7 <br />Roll Call: <br />Present <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 2 p.m. <br />City Attorney Priamos announced that Superior Court Judge Tranbarger ruled <br />in favor of the City of Riverside on a code enforcement matter. <br />City Clerk Nicol announced that pursuant to Government Code §54952.3(a) <br />as permitted by Health and Safety Code §33114 and the City Council action <br />of January 30, 2007, Redevelopment Agency Board Members receive <br />compensation of $100 per meeting and will do so as a result of today's <br />meeting of the Agency. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />JOINT ITEM WITH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY - REDEVELOPMENT UPDATE - RESOLUTIONS <br />Following discussion, the City Council (1) received and ordered filed the <br />update on redevelopment; (2) adopted a resolution reaffirming the City's <br />intent to act as the successor agency; and (3) adopted a resolution for the <br />City to elect not to retain the responsibility for performing housing functions <br />previously performed by the Redevelopment Agency and selecting the <br />Housing Authority to perform those certain housing functions; whereupon, the <br />titles having been read and further readings waived, Resolution No. 22322 of <br />the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Re -Affirming the <br />Authorization of the City of Riverside to Become the "Successor Agency" to <br />the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside Pursuant to AB 1X 26 <br />(The Redevelopment Agency Dissolution Act), and Resolution No. 22323 of <br />the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Electing Not to Retain the <br />Responsibility to Perform Housing Functions Previously Performed by the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside and Designating the Housing <br />Authority of the City of Riverside as the Entity to Retain the Responsibility to <br />Perform Housing Functions Previously Performed by the Redevelopment <br />Motion <br />X <br />Agency of the City of Riverside Pursuant to AB 1X 26 (The Redevelopment <br />Second <br />X <br />Agency Dissolution Act), were presented and adopted. <br />All Ayes <br />Following discussion, the Redevelopment Agency received and ordered filed <br />Motion <br />X <br />the update on redevelopment. <br />Second <br />X <br />All Ayes <br />97-156 <br />
