1 2 3 4 5 VAC_74 - 834 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 28 30 31 32 CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALl FORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 15261 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF EXCESS ARLINGTON AVENUE RIGHT-OF-WAY, WESTERLY OF TEXAS AVENUE; REFERRING TO A MAP ON FILE; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside as follows: 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, to vacate a portion of excess Arlington Avenue right-of-way, westerly of Texas Avenue, upon the grounds and for the reason that said portion of the right-of-way is unnecessary for present or future public use. The said City Council hereby elects and expresses its election to proceed to vacate said portions of the right-of-way pursuant to the pro- visions of the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law, being Sections 8300 et seq. of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. 2. That the portion of the right-of-way which it is the intention of the City Council to vacate is an approximately 25-foot-wide by 300-foot-long portion located on the southerly side of Arlington Avenue westerly of Texas Avenue located in the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, and is more particularly described in the document attached hereto, marked Exhibit A and by this reference made a part hereof. 3. That the portion of the right-of-way sought to be vacated is shown on a certain map on file with the City Clerk of the City of Riverside, California, and reference is hereby made to said map on file. 4. That the time and place of hearing of persons interested in the proposed vacation is hereby fixed as Tuesday, February 21, 1984, at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Riverside City Council located adjacent to the City Hall,
