The National Electrical Code, <br />1984 Edition (First Printing), and any related errata, <br />copyrighted by the National Fire Protection Association, <br />Battery March Park, Quincy, Massachusetts, which <br />regulates the erection, construction, demolition, <br />equipment, use and maintenance of electrical systems, <br />with the exception of the parts and provisions <br />expressly excepted and deleted, and as amended by <br />this chapter, is adopted and by. this reference made a <br />part of this code with the same force and effect as <br />though set out herein in full. One copy of the <br />National Electrical Code, which has been certified <br />as a true copy, is on file and open to public inspec- <br />tion in the office of the City Clerk." <br /> <br />Section 2: Chapter 16.16 of the Riverside Municipal <br /> <br />Code is hereby amended by adding a new Section 16.16,030 thereto <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "16.16.030 TABLES 310-20 THROUGH 310-30 <br />DELETED. Tables 310-20 through 310-30 of the <br />National Electrical Code and their accompanying <br />notes and figures are excepted, deleted and not <br />adopted." <br /> <br />Section 3: Chapter 16.16 of the Riverside Municipal <br /> <br />Code is hereby amended by adding a new Section 16.16.032 thereto <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "16.16,032 SECTION 310-15 AMENDED - DELETION <br />0F TABLES 310-20 THROUGH 310-30. Subsection (a) <br />of Section 310-15 of the National Electrical Code <br />is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> '(a) Applications covered by Tables. <br />Ampacities for conductors rated 0-2000 volts <br />shall be as specified in Tables 310-16 through <br />310-19 and their accompanying notes. The <br />ampacity for types V, AVA, AVB and AVL con- <br />ductors rated 2001-'5000 volts shall be the same <br />as those conductor types rated 0-2000 volts. The <br />ampacities for solid dielectric insulated Con- <br />ductors rated 2001 to 35000 volts shall be as <br />specified in Tables 310-69 through 310-84 and <br />their accompanying notes."' <br /> <br /> <br />
