Michael Arct spoke <br />regarding the Redflex Traffic Systems agreement extension. <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br />The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed <br />sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54957 for appointment of City <br />Manager; and (2) §54957.6 to review the City Council's position and instruct <br />designated representatives regarding salaries, salary schedules, or <br />compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits of all Executive Management <br />employees, all Management and Confidential employees as defined by <br />PERS, Fire Management Unit, Riverside City Firefighters Association, <br />Riverside Police Officers Association (Police and Police Supervisory Units), <br />Service Employees International Union #721, International Brotherhood of <br />Electrical Workers #47, and Riverside Police Administrators Association. <br />RECESS <br />The City Council recessed at 3:29 p.m. and reconvened at 6:15 p.m. in the <br />Art Pick Council Chamber. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES REPORT <br />Chair Robert C. Elliott presented a report on the activities of the Board of <br />Public Utilities. Following the presentation and without formal motion, the <br />City Council (1) received and ordered filed the report; and (2) thanked <br />Mr. Elliott for the presentation. <br />Invocation was given by Councilmember Melendrez. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br />Mayor Loveridge called upon Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of <br />Commerce Board Chair Dina Esquivel who recognized the support of the <br />City. <br />97-102 <br />
