FLAI <br />CUT OF <br />R i1D <br />City Council Memorandum <br />Cit �fAlrts Unn ovarion <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: October 4, 2011 <br />FROM: PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT ITEM NO: 28 <br />WARD: 7 <br />SUBJECT: PARCEL MAP 36289 LOCATED ON THE EASTERLY SIDE OF ROSE AVENUE, <br />NORTHERLY OF GRAMERCY PLACE AND WESTERLY OF LA SIERRA AVENUE <br />- FINAL APPROVAL <br />ISSUES <br />The issues for City Council consideration are: 1) final approval of Parcel Map 36289 and adoption of <br />the "Resolution of Acceptance" for the Official Map; and 2) acceptance of the agreements for the <br />construction and maintenance of improvements. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />That the City Council: <br />1. Approve Parcel Map 36289 and adopt the "Resolution of Acceptance" for the Official Map; <br />and <br />2. Accept the agreements for the maintenance and construction of improvements. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Zoning Administrator of the Community Development Department approved Parcel Map 36289 <br />on April 6, 2010. The map is the proposal of Adkan Engineers on behalf of Kristian Sorensen to <br />subdivide approximately 0.36 acres of land developed with one (1) single family residence into two <br />(2) single family residential lots on the easterly side of Rose Avenue, northerly of Gramercy Place in <br />the R -1 -7000 - Single Family Residential Zone. <br />Staff has determined that the developer has satisfied all of the conditions for the map, and <br />recommends that the final map be approved pursuant to Section 18.090.060 C of the Riverside <br />Municipal Code. <br />The Community Development Department concurs with the recommendation above. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact incurred by the City for the map finalization. <br />28 -1 <br />
