Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Professional Service Agreement
with Heider Engineering Services, Inc., including making any minor non - substantive changes
needed to implement the agreement.
BACKGROUND
On March 1, 2011, the City Council awarded Bid No. 6933 to Edge Development for the
construction of the Downtown Fire Station and authorized appropriation of $200,000 for permits and
testing and inspection services. A Request for Proposals for Testing and Inspections Services was
posted on the City's on -line bid site (RFP No. 1268) and closed March 11, 2011. City staff received
proposals from seven qualified companies.
