Terry Frizzel <br />spoke regarding upcoming June 7, 2011, Election, her involvement in <br />numerous elections, Ward 7 candidate's actions, Oath of good conduct and <br />respect, and campaign signs. Karen Wright spoke regarding pulling of <br />Council items for discussion, upcoming events, candidate forums, ballots, <br />and Council items regarding, restriction for commercial vehicles, Riverside <br />Main Library Project, Public Employees' Retirement System for Riverside City <br />Firefighter's Association and Riverside Fire Management Group, potentially <br />dangerous and vicious dogs, and street improvements on Brockton Avenue. <br />Mary Shelton spoke regarding Jurupa Avenue extension, the Comprehensive <br />Annual Financial Reports, and the Redevelopment fund. Joel Udayke spoke <br />regarding Deanna Lorson's promotion to Assistant City Manager, Omakase <br />tenant improvements, permits, and the Flowerloft closed session. Morris <br />Mendoza spoke regarding the Cinco De Mayo event, water main line <br />maintenance, and hiring Riverside residents for new jobs created in the City. <br />James Martin spoke regarding Campaign materials and contributions, <br />La Sierra Hills, Riverwalk, blight, and property taxes. Phyllis Purcell spoke <br />regarding the Jurupa Avenue extension and Redevelopment funds. Irma <br />Flores spoke regarding Redevelopment and its abuse, Main Street Mall, and <br />Parking Garage No. 3. Michael Morales spoke regarding altercation at <br />May 3, 2011, City Council meeting, Terry Frizzel, and Councilmember <br />Adams. Salvador Santana spoke regarding the audience conduct at City <br />Council meetings, and the June 7, 2011, Election. <br />BRIEF STATUS REPORTS FOR REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, <br />CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, AND MEETINGS ATTENDED BY MAYOR <br />AND CITY COUNCIL <br />Councilmember Melendrez reported on the California League of Cities <br />meeting. <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT ON CLOSED SESSIONS <br />City Attorney Priamos announced there were no reportable actions taken on <br />the closed sessions held earlier in the day. <br />96 -338 <br />
