( r <br />3990 MAIN SI VJ7 Vf <br />RnT.RSm3 , CA 92522 <br />(991) 826 -5567 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 956 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE STATING ITS INTENT THAT ALL ACTIONS AUTHORIZING <br />STAFF TO TRANSFER REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY INTERESTS <br />ARE TAKEN IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW AS IT EXISTS AS OF <br />MARCH 8, 2011; AND THAT ALL TRANSFERS OF ASSETS AUTHORIZED <br />SHALL CONTINUE TO BE MADE UNDER LAWS IN EFFECT AS OF <br />MARCH 8, 2011, NOTWITHSTANDING ANY SUBSEQUENT CHANGES IN <br />THE LAW. <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside ( "Agency ") is a public <br />body, corporate and politic and the "community" as that term is defined by Health & Safety Code <br />section 33002 (i.e. the City); and <br />WHEREAS, the City duly formed the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside <br />pursuant to Health & Safety Code section 33000, et seq. ( "Agency "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency duly formed six redevelopment project areas in accordance with the <br />Community Redevelopment Law pursuant to Health & Safety Code section 33000 et seq. ( "CRL "); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the CRL requires that 20% of all tax increment revenues be set aside for the <br />development of low- very -low and moderate income housing within the community; and <br />WHEREAS, from the inception of the Agency and the adoption of the redevelopment plans <br />for the Agency's six redevelopment project areas, as amended from time to time, the CRL has <br />provided that upon dissolution of the Agency all assets of the Agency shall belong to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, at all relevant times during the existence of the Agency, City and the Housing <br />Authority of the City of Riverside ( "Authority "), these agencies made certain decisions and <br />undertook certain actions in reliance on the continued existence of the redevelopment project areas <br />during their respective terms; and <br />WHEREAS, the respective terms of the redevelopment project areas were not contested by <br />members of the public and were validated as a matter of law pursuant to Health & Safety Code <br />section 33000 et seq. and Code of Civil Procedure, section 860 et seq.; and <br />
