EXTENSION TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULT ANT SERVICES 2 (Economic Analysis and Development Review Services) 3 4 5 6 (Keyser Marston Associates Inc.) THIS EXTENSION TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this .16th day of May , 2000, by and between the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Riverside, a 7 public entity, hereinafter referred to as "Agency," and Keyser Marston Associates, Inc., hereinafter 8 referred to as "Consultant," with respect to the following facts: 9 RECITALS: lO WHEREAS, Agency and Consultant entered into that certain Agreement for Professional 11 Consultant Services ("Agreement") dated July 27, 1999, wherein Consultant agreed to provide 12 Economic Analysis and Development Review Services for the period of July 27, 1999 to June 30, 13 2000; 14 WHEREAS, section 3 of said Agreement provides that the Agreement may be extended 15 by mutual consent of the parties for three (3) additional twelve (12) month periods. 16 WHEREAS, Agency and Consultant desire to extend the Agreement for a period of 17 twelve months commencing July 1,2000; 18 WHEREAS, Agency and Consultant desire to amend the Agreement to change 19 Consultant's address for purposes of notification pursuant to section 25 of the original Agreement; 20 and 21 WHEREAS, Agency and Consultant desire to amend Exhibit "C" of the Agreement to 22 restate the effective dates and increase some of the hourly compensation rates. 23 NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto mutually agree as follows: 24 1. The Agreement between the parties hereto dated July 27, 1999, is hereby extended for 25 an additional period of twelve months from July 1,2000 through June 30, 2001. 26 2. All terms and conditions of the Agreement between the parties hereto dated July 27, 27 1999, not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect as expressly written except for City Attorney's Office 3900 Main Street Riverside.
