<br />A communication from the Building Code Revision Committee, recommending the adoption of the

<br />uniform building code prepared by the Pacific Coast Building Officials Conference, as revised by the
<br />said Committee to suit the needs of the City of Riverside, was received and filed; and upon motion
<br />of Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Redman, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare the
<br />said code in proper form for adoption as an ordinance.

<br />Upon motion of councilmen Pearse, seconded by Councilman Ohlhausen, the matter of preparing

<br />an ordinance defining the boundaries of the fire districts of the City of Riverside, as proposed by
<br />the Building Code Revision Committee, was referred to the City Attorney, the City Engineer and the

<br />Upon motion of Councilman Backstrand, seconded by Councilman Taylor, the request of Mrs.

<br />Grover Davidson for to perform marvelling work in•her residence at No. 639 Mulberry Street,
<br />was referred to the General Co —ittee of the Council.

<br />and C. Stahlman; and after the same were publicly opened, ezamined,.declared and duly con -

<br />sidered, it was moved by Councilman Pearse, seconded by Councilmen Wells, that the said bids be, and

<br />, the same are hereby , referred to the City Engineer for extension.
