L. McKenzie, Superintendent of Streets, E. S. <br />Garbage <br />- 'j <br />Beebe, Sanitary Inspector, and Councilman'4agner as a committee to investigate the <br />collection and disposal of garbage. <br />{ <br />Upon motion of Councilman Strickler, seconded by Council,::an Taylor, bond <br />Bond <br />approved <br />of G. Albert Mills, as City Clerk, in the anount of $5,000.00, with the Aetna <br />j <br />Casualty and Surety Co::tpany as surety, was approved. <br />A petition of G. M. Vermillion for permission to install and maintain a <br />Gasoline <br />. <br />_ <br />storage tan <br />6c:soline storage tank of 500 gallons capacity at No. 79 Eighth Street, was received <br />and filed,.and upon enoticn of Councilman Lord, seconded by Councilman Taylor, the <br />same "was gran ed. <br />i <br />G. Vermillion was present and requested the privilege of enlarging a <br />Driveway," - <br />f <br />Eighth and;' <br />i <br />JI <br />driveway at Market and Eighth Streets and upon motion of Councilman Strickler, <br />Market Sts. <br />i( <br />seconded by Councilman Taylor, the request was referred to the Streets Committee for <br />an investigation and report at the next meeting. <br />Bids for furnishing the City with fire equipment were received from the <br />Bids, fire:' <br />equipment <br />following: American LaFrance Fire Engine Company, American Rubber Manufacturing Com- <br />pany, Mack- International Motor Truck Corporation, Pacific Fire Extinguisher 0ompany, <br />Pioneer Rubber Mills, P. & K.
