E H Z U ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER R CITY HALL 3900 MAIN STREET 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 WARDS Roll Call: Present X X X X X X X Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 1 p.m. PUBLIC HEARING CASES P09-0205 AND P09 -0206 - TRAFFIC PATTERN MODIFICATION AND VACATION - DUFFERIN BETWEEN STEWART AND MC ALLISTER - RESOLUTION Hearing was called relative to the proposal by the City of Riverside Public Works Department to implement traffic p attern modification measures on Dufferin Avenue at its terminus with McAllister Parkway and to vacate portions of Dufferin Avenue between Stewart Street and McAllister Parkway with easements reserved for bicycle, pedestrian, emergency, and utility Motion X access. Fifty-four people spoke on the matter . T he public hearing was Second X officially closed. All Ayes Following discussion, the City Council (1) determined that the proposed project would not have a significant effect on the environment based upon the findings set forth in the case records and adopted a Negative Declaration; (2) approved Planning Cases P09-0205 and P09-0206 based on and subject to the City Planning Commission findings and the recommended conditions as out lined in the written staff report; and (3) a dopted a r esolution and instructed the City Clerk that it not be recorded until all conditions have been met; whereupon, the title having been read and further reading waived, Resolution No. 21856 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Making Its Findings and Determinations in the Matter of Planning Case P09-0205 Modifying the Traffic Pattern and Vacating Dufferin Avenue Motion X Between Stewart Street and McAllister Parkway, in the City of Riverside, Second X California, was presented and adopted. All Ayes ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no oral comments presented at this time. CLOSED SESSIONS The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.8 to instruct City’s Negotiator, Bradley J. Hudson, regarding price and terms of payment for the purchase, sale, exchange, or lease of 3058 St. Lawrence Street, APN 231- 260-024; 3001 Adams Street, APNs 231 -260-043, 044, and 047; 2911 Adams Street (portion of), APN 231 -260-050; 8181 Lincoln Avenue 95-1
